Job Overview The BDC Post Silicon Engineering group has an opening for a RF and Mixed-Signal Bench Characterization Engineer. This group develops Test solutions for design verification of highly integrated Receivers/Transmitters/Transceivers, Power management, Analog and Mixed signal ASICs designed by QCT. Job responsibilities for this position include design and debug of test interface hardware, Test methodology implementation, Test equipment automation, Device Verification/Characterization and Data analysis.

Minimum Qualifications 2 years plus experience, Engineer level or above.

Solid understanding of Electronics engineering fundamentals, Mixed-signal and RF circuit analysis techniques.

Working knowledge of Mixed-signal and RF measurement techniques such as IP3, Noise Figure, ACPR, Jitter, Phase noise and Lock time.

Good ASIC device level characterization skills. System level knowledge is a plus.

Able to work hands on with lab equipment like Oscilloscope and Spectrum analyzer.

Able to work independently with initiative through challenges, technical or otherwise.

Able to communicate clearly, organize effectively and document work thoroughly while working with local and remote teams.

Preferred Qualifications Solid software skills for writing and debugging test code. Competency in at least 1 software language. Expertise in LabVIEW is a plus.

Knowledge of Mixed-signal and RF PCB design and test board debug. Using CAD software such as Mentor Graphics DA or Cadence Allegro is a plus.

Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques, quality and reliability testing. Wafer fabrication fundamentals is a plus.
