Job Overview A Platforms Test Automation Lead would be responsible for the quality assurance of discreet components in a platform by enhancing existing automation frameworks to deliver reliable and useful test results. The components themselves could be either Software and /or Hardware.

Examples of Hardware: ADC, DAC, SPDIF, I2S, I2C, SQIF memory, UART, USB etc.

Examples of Software: Encryption and security, Firmware upgrade, HAL API, Device Drivers, Board support packages, memory management, power management etc.

Minimum Qualifications Should have automation experience with tools like software IDEs, test and measurement equipment like oscilloscope, multimeter, signal generator / analyzers.

Knowledge of digital hardware concepts along with ability to quickly comprehend board schematics and RTL

Prior experience of automating hardware components like Capacitive Touch sensors, Tactile Switches, Accelerometers, Gyros, GPIO lines, Infrared emitters and receivers, Various audio interfaces and converters etc.

Prior experience of working in an automation system that used extensive multithreaded concepts to test interrupt handling, real-time schedulers, memory management, timers, watchdogs, clocking architectures, power-save mechanisms, boot-up sequences, etc

Familiarity with serial communication protocols

Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional remote teams

Solid background in audio signal processing including thorough knowledge of audio interfaces (PCM, I2S, SPDIF, ADC/DAC, etc) and DSP architectures

Good programming experience and clear understanding of OOPS concepts preferably C/C++, Python with particular expertise in parsing algorithms.

Must have the ability to create, collate and present detailed test reports that are both concise and elaborate.

Strong experience in creating and maintaining Continuous Integration (CI) systems based on Jenkins

Must have a keen interest in the latest advances in technology in the areas mentioned above

Education Requirements Academic qualifications . BE in electronics, telecommunications or equivalent

Masters (or greater) in Electronics and Telecommunications engineering
